Back to kampong style!

What a fruitful experiences I had for the past few days!

Was being invited to Malaysia to attend my uncle's wedding and to play for 4 days 3 nights. Took coach there, and it total spent us like freaking 8 hours (inclusive of all those checkin, toilet break, lunch break)! Depart at 6am in the morning and we only managed to reach there at about 5pm.

Stunned, shocked, amazed.
We entered a kampong. Everything there was like a old school style. If you ever watch Kampong Ties on channel 8 at 7pm, you got to believe that everything is the same as what they show. Probably a few houses are no longer wooden, but it still exist! I thought I would die there because no internet, no shopping malls, no nothing! But, I survived. :D

Being brought to our home stay rent by Wai Chan auntie's mum.
Like a heng, it's not a wooden house. Still have air-conditional installed though. :)  After we put down our stuffs, head over to Waichan auntie's house for buffet dinner. Their buffet service is so much better than us! The people will stay there to serve you, help you. Totally unlike Singapore's buffet! Service is so good! NO SERVICE CHARGES SOMEMORE. Hello, Singapore, where the hell is the service when we paid for it?! Anyway, I didnt had much food because I have yet used to the food over there. Munching tibits more! Back to home, bathe and relax ~ Time passed freaking slow, I swear! We totally had nothing to do, so we went to bed at freaking 10PM.

The adults kept called us to be prepared by 9am the next morning. Yes, it's the wedding day. Uncle gonna take the wedding car to fetch the bride (even though the bride's house was only 2-3 houses ahead). But the Malaysian wedding is so much relaxing than Singapore's one. It's already 10am, the bride is still nowhere to be seen. So we all head to room and play with monopoly deal.

Can you see how relaxing it is? I still remember that time when I helped out with Bernard's wedding, I was running here and there since 5.30am to all the way 12pm!! Boo! Duh, anyway, I am the photographer, so I went off to bride's home with them first. Hiding in Bride's room taking photos and etc and the groom suddenly appear?! All of us like "Wtf, what to do now?!"

All crying for help in the room, and my auntie was like "dont rush, relax. Slowly." haha! As usual, I went to open door luh, asking for angbao since I done this before. Like again, I bullied my own family..? 吃里爬外,有没有! Got the bride and start of tea ceremony.

Run back to home half way because the couple heading to our home already. Super epic! Me and Huiyi keep laughing. In Singapore, our tradition is that when the couple coming, the male side family have to hide for a few mins because of some reasons. But in Malaysia, totally no such thing. So the auntie who came to shout "Couple arrived" went into our home and said "HOW COME NO PEOPLE?! HELLO, WHERE ARE YOU GUYS?" Hhaha! So I explained to them our custom, they laughed and say DONT NEED LUH! Wtf ttm! Done with everything, START TO NUA AGAIN. T.T

Waichan auntie bring us to "Jin Bao" to shop before preparing for night time wedding dinner. (See, still can go shopping first?!) Fun though, just like our chinatown! Back to home at around 3pm. Start to rot again. The adults went to nap, while the kids hiding in room playing with Saboteurs and Monopoly Deal! (This part, time passed very fast. haha!) 6pm, we head over to a nearby school for the wedding dinner. Kampong, what do you expect?

I wore slipper to the wedding dinner and totally regretted because we were being called to stage for "Yam sehhh" .. We kids all disiao. We purposely wait for the "yammmm~" to fade off before we start shouting. So everyone was like o.O stunned face when they heard us. haha! The food serve was delicious anyway!

Oh, their wedding dinner very relaxing also. Macham party. The adults will go on stage to KTV, the guest just sit back, relax and eat. They keep call us to go sing, but all old songs, we young kids dont know how to sing. -.-"' I only had a cup of Carlsberg just because I don't want to run toilet. You can imagine the kampong style toilet.

When everything end, they still give you plastic bags to dabao left over food. Cool max! And the guest just go off without even saying goodbye to couples. Why so cool one?! We got so high when they play "Party Rock Anthem" at the end but they cut off because they don't listen to English songs. Our faces all like -.-"' duh ~ Make us happy for nothing.

Back to home, bathe and nuaaaaa again. Everyday nua nua nua.
3rd day. We had a coach to fetch us to Ipoh and Peneng. Not very enjoyable because it took us 2hours to reached ipoh and another 2hours to reached peneng from ipoh. Worst, it's so fucking hot at peneng and we had nothing to do, nothing to buy. :/ Mum see me so poor thing, already last day and I didnt spend a single ringgit, so she asked me if I wanna get the smurf toy back. And she bought me a cig keychain (she very happy about this. -.-)

Went to a famous thai temple (蛇庙), I eventually went to pray 四面佛, pray health, wealth, education and pray very hard for relationship. HAHA! Think stayed in kampong too long, I totally turn nuts. After this, being brought to another side of peneng to have our dinner. We like some hungry ghost. FULL TABLE OF FOOD. You got to see it from my facebook. &finally, we see shopping mall!!!!!!! All of us like crazy, including the adults. But only had a pathetic 1 hour to shop. Sad ttm!

Back home at 12am, because of some wtf reasons. 5hours car ride. -.-
Played with cousins till 4am, sleep and woke up at 7am. GO HOMEEEEEEEE! :D

P.S.// My phone was left UNcharged for the past 4 days and amazingly, the battery life still have about 80%.
P.S/// We happened to see 2 accidents during the 4 days. Malaysia drivers are really scary, I swear! Love Singapore's LTA now.
P.S/// My cousin almost lost his phone because the malaysia cleaners found it while cleaning and refused to return us. Thank god, our bus driver helped us and very lucky, my cousin did on his ringtone, blasting type somemore. He got no choice but to return us.

So in conclusion, Malaysia is really dangerous. Moreover, we are too well-protected by Singapore Government.
